What your clients see when they open their gallery: proofing, 5-star ratings, comments, and downloads, all without creating an account.
When a client receives an Artilio gallery link, they see a clean, fast photo gallery designed to make their selection experience easy and enjoyable. There is no app to install, no account to create.
Opening the gallery
The client clicks their link. A named (email) invite opens the gallery for the address you invited; a secret link opens it for anyone who has the link. Either way, they land straight in the gallery.

Browsing and rating
Photos are displayed in high resolution, optimised for the screen size. The client can:
- Browse chapters using the navigation at the top.
- Click any photo to open it full-screen.
- Leave a 5-star rating on any photo.
- Mark photos as favourites (a quick heart icon).
- Leave a comment on any photo.
Ratings and favourites are visible to you in real time from your dashboard. This is your most important editing signal, the client is telling you which photos matter most to them.
Selections and proofing
If you have enabled proofing for this client, they can mark photos as "selected for retouching". This gives you a clear brief: retouch these photos first. No email thread. No shared spreadsheet.

Downloads
Download access is off by default. You enable it per access grant. When download is enabled, the client sees a download button on each photo and a "Download all" option that downloads the whole gallery as a ZIP.
When download is enabled, clients download the original files you uploaded, at full resolution and without modification. Watermarks are applied only for viewing inside the gallery, not to downloaded files. Delivering original camera files such as RAW is planned for the Studio plan and is not available yet.
Print ordering
If you have the print storefront enabled on the gallery, clients see a "Buy prints" button below each photo. They choose the format and size, pay by card, and prints ship directly to their address. You receive 100% of the order value, Artilio charges 0% commission.
What the client does not see
- Internal folders and asset collections, those are your private file organisation.
- Chapters hidden from their access grant, even the chapter names are invisible.
- Other clients' access links or details.
- Draft galleries that have not been shared with them.
